But if the issue if the company not producing a product that's up to this nebulous player standard then any advertisement he did for the game itself would be "selling out" no?

The Marvel set is cooked because almost nobody cares about these characters beyond a few of the faces like Iron Man.

Captain Falcon will never be as iconic or beloved as Aerith, and the sales reflect this.

..& the cold war. We can have actual conversations about the the history of these characters, but I dont think thats where the actual criticism is coming from. Especially since Fin Fang Foom and all these characters are still being used to this day with no issue

Just to get it out the way Marvel is old and a lot of thier characters have dubious orgins : Shang Shi was the son of Fu Manchu, Man-Ape is a black African wearing an Ape Suit, a lot of characters are nazis cause they were created during WWII, or Soviets due to the red scare
