Man, since the @Reds cancelled the rest of their season around mid May it’s made for ANOTHER LONGGGG summer before football season. Thank goodness for @FIFAWorldCup games.
These fans passion and pride in their country has been so much fun to watch!!

Per the transactions log, the Reds have traded Rece Hinds to the Marlins for Triple-A pitcher Zach McCambley. Hinds was DFAd last week.

McCambley was a third-round pick in 2020, had been moving his way up through Miami’s farm system, posted a 3.32 ERA in 2025 in Triple-A and a 2.36 ERA in 2026 in Triple-A. He can give you some length, and he threw three innings in his most recent outing.

How do we feel about Noelvi Marte? Is there something there that can be tapped into? I’m at a point where I feel he’s another top prospect the Reds have failed to fully develop… and that’s a huge issue for an organization like this but that’s a different tip for a different day.
