Seeing platforms like GRM and FITB rub themselves out is so depressing. Instead of evolving for the better, they’ve just turned into commercial entities that people are losing respect for year on year.
So many important conversations are derailed by virtue signalling, it’s hard not to disconnect when so many people are looking for every opportunity to demonstrate moral superiority
cheering for anyone’s death because they had opposing POLITICAL VIEWS is wack. we are losing the plot. while charlie kirk pushed some very harmful ideologies he also shared some really valid ones. and that’s everyone’s right. do yall actually like free speech and thinking? or only when the thoughts align with your own?
@BrianZisook But this has been said since he dropped LLL at the end of 2021, and it actually started due the the decline in quality of his music, nothing to do with numbers or because he’s been quiet for a minute.
It’s like you’re assuming these opinions only come from surface level fans 😅
There's an often-cited misconception that those of us advocating for Christian influence devoid of political dominance or waging war are advocating for passivity or "doing nothing."
This couldn't be further from the truth.
Our call to live out the teachings of Christ authentically after the example of Jesus, the apostles, the prophets, and the early Christians is anything but "doing nothing."
In fact, it is a call to do everything that scripture actually mandates.
Christian Nationalists amongst others often say that the erosion of Christian values in society can only be combated through seizing political power, legislating morality, or waging war on our enemies.
But, this misunderstands the nature of the Gospel and the essence of Christ's teachings.
Our Lord did not come to establish a temporal kingdom or to wield political power as a means to enforce righteousness.
He came to transform individual hearts, which is something that can't be accomplished by the sword or by law.
Jesus's approach was fundamentally about engaging through transformational love, personal sacrifice, and the undeniable power of a lived-out truth.
He taught us to be the salt and light of the world, agents of change through our virtues, not through our control over governance or coercion.
The early Christians did not lobby for seats of power in Rome; instead, they spread the Gospel through communities and fostered spaces where transformative love and radical charity spoke louder than the decrees of emperors.
To say that this approach is "passive" or "doing nothing" completely overlooks the vigorous activity involved in living out the Gospel.
Educating, counseling, serving the poor, loving the unlovable, and embodying the fruits of the Spirit, these are not passive actions.
They are quite the opposite, actually.
They are proactive, powerful, and profoundly counter-cultural in every regard.
They reshape society from the inside out, which creates a ripple effect that legislation and force can never hope to achieve.
Believing that Christian values need to be defended by laws shows a deep lack of faith and mistrust in the power of these values to stand on their own merit.
True Christian values are inherently attractive and draw people in by their inherent goodness and compassion.
When we live according to the principles taught by Christ Himself, people are drawn to us and the message we carry, not because we have forced them, but because they see something genuinely better.
Christian nationalism's focus on political dominance turns faith into an idol of national identity, where the means justify the ends.
This is a dangerous path that history has shown leads not to the kingdom of God, but to kingdoms of men, marked by corruption, division, and ultimately, a departure from the Gospel itself.
We should reject the notion that political power is the primary avenue for Christian influence.
Rather, we should embrace the active role of living out our faith authentically and influentially in every aspect of our lives.
We must engage in our communities, schools, and yes, even politics, but always as ambassadors of Christ's love and truth, never as conquerors seeking to dominate.
Our legacy should not be one of coercion or legalistic morality, but one of a living faith that transcends political boundaries and transforms societies through the undeniable power of the Gospel.
That's not passivity or "doing nothing," that's being active, brave, and following in the footsteps of Jesus, living out the commands and purpose He gave us.
Pray on this, brothers and sisters.
@BrianZisook@kylemillllz@iamstillpunch There’ll always be variables, but you’re also blanketing when using absolutes such as “there is no such thing”, just cause there may be no audience.
There’s a lot of artists today that believe releasing a track every single day is beneficial. It ultimately devalues the market.
@BrianZisook@kylemillllz@iamstillpunch It sounds like your point is more geared towards what “works” or “success “. I’m pretty sure Punch is purely speaking from an art-form and quality perspective, which is more important (long-term) in my opinion. Music is more than just a product.
This clip confirms everything I’ve thought about Kanye’s supposed conversion.
If you actually listened to him and observed his attitude, it was always about what Jesus could do for him.
He still saw himself as a powerful force used by God and exalted himself through it all and showed no signs of actual repentance and humbling of the heart.
And this is the problem with many supposed conversions today, people are not seeking Christ with a humble heart and patience for the kingdom not of this world, but rather are seeking power, authority, prosperity and peace in this world.
They want Jesus to do something for them now and feel they are entitled to things because they profess Christ with their lips.
But Jesus says that we need to pick up our crosses and follow Him, we need to faithfully endure and humble ourselves to the cards God has dealt us.
Don’t mistake what I’m saying for “be lazy and do nothing.”
I’m saying we aren’t entitled to power, glory, peace, prosperity, safety, comfort or anything in this world, in fact the Bible says if we are truly in submission to the Lord we will suffer and be persecuted for His name’s sake.
And Kanye is just one example of millions of people who will use the name of Jesus to conquer the world and lead us into a counterfeit version of the kingdom of heaven, one that feeds into man’s ego.
This is the true spirit of Antichrist, and it takes true biblically-rooted discernment to understand this.
Firstly, who's idea was it to have this guy jump out a back of a van with that whack game and when it didn't work he pull out a “sword” and was able to get the friends number? 😭😭
So far from funny I nearly choked

Dr. Umar Johnson says hip-hop has done more damage to the Black community in its 50 years of existence than the good it has produced. “We should have 50 black Wall streets but all celebrities give is turkeys on Thanksgiving.” - @_DJUTV

This is the first clip from a special visual piece created to shine a light on the things we don’t always have a safe space to speak on…
This really jars, and I notice it’s done towards me when I talk about my faith. If me talking about my faith is disappointing, you should consider getting lost. x
