In 2025 the NHL is leaning towards a decentralized entry level draft to reduce travel. Although this may upset stakeholders within the NHL, it will help the environment going forward. #environmentawareness

@CassB444 @KIN110UofR @ZachSchaan I absolutely agree, it is very wasteful and unnecessary to build massive facilities and being unable to reuse them for future events.

Jackie Robinson faced politics within his baseball career. He was racially insulted and threatened by fans, teammates, coaches, and players of opposing teams. He helped pave the way to the civil rights movement so people of colour didn’t experience what he did.

@hbg314 @KIN110UofR For an example, shin pads for hockey can be used from recycled plastic!

Only 21% of golf courses in the USA use recycled water as a source of irrigation. What percentage of golf courses worldwide use recycled water as their source of irrigation?

@diiorio8302 @KIN110UofR hopefully the injury to one of the NFL's most valuable players (Aaron Rodgers) will raise attention.

Many sporting events hand out physical programs at the events. To help improve the environment, QR codes can be scanned at the front door.

Is it worth hosting the Olympics? Do you think it would benefit a city like Regina ?

[Reece @Reecekuski]

@ElormEdzido @KIN110UofR Hopefully in the future the percentage is much more even!

Golf is amongst the worst sports in the world for the environment. Although golf gets people outside, it demands precise maintenance towards the quality of the grass. In order to provide a high standard of grass, harmful chemicals are used that affect the environment

Your community swimming pool is in desperate need of renovations. What level of government is responsible to supply support ?

[Reece @Reecekuski]

@HughNestor2 @KIN110UofR I would say no because of the various media platforms that update people on their favorite teams

The Mosaic Stadium In Regina, SK, roughly costed $300 Million to build. Do you think the new stadium benefits Regina as a community?

This article connects to an athlete conducting a sport norm in society. Patrick Kane was allegedly charged for assaulting a 62 year cab driver over 20 cents. Fighting is seen as normal in hockey but in society he was extremely frowned upon. https://t.co/UyJmjdwXVJ

In sport there are many different kinds of deviance that is displayed. In hockey many forms of deviance is shown. Should hockey remain a contact sport or would it ruin the aspect of the game?

[Reece @Reecekuski]

@MichaelBurechai @KIN110UofR To an extent of course

[Reece @Reecekuski]

@KIN110UofR There are currently 6 indigenous players in the NHL, making the percentage roughly 0.9375. I was able to meet Ethan Bear in 2022 at a softball fundraiser. He was a very genuine person and I am grateful that I got the chance to meet such a role model.

Ticket prices to attend the 2024 NFL super bowl range from 4-60k. Not very many middle class citizens would pay that much to attend a single NFL game, so a mass majority of people in attendance would be individuals who fall under upper class.

@KIN110UofR Parents and guardians tend to get way to intense when it comes to youth sporting events. Poor treatment towards officials, coaches and even other parents. I believe to make youth sport more positive, harsher consequences for parents must be applied.
