Sport plays a key role in our lives that we use their products everyday. However, sport-branded products tend to use materials that affects the environment and the wildlife. Do you think there are sport products that can be eco friendly? If so, how? @KIN110UofR
@KAldhaherNoor@KIN110UofR In Fall 2025, the U of R will be hosting the Vanier Cup which is an annual championship football league in Canada. By the time the U of R hosts this event, this will also mark the 25th anniversary for the U of R Rams and the 60th anniversary for the Vanier Cup as well!
@KIN110UofR Media is essential when it comes to sports news, but it is also a way for members of your favourite sports team can interact with fans. Some people may see this as a good thing, but it can also be negative to some people as well. What do you think? #Mediainsports
@KearaChris27625 @KIN110UofR In our modern society, social media is such an important way to engage in sports news, as well as interacting with other members of your favourite sports teams as well.
Violence is now considered to be normalized within the sport industry, especially for men. This is so that they can be seen as masculine and well-respected. If women are violent like this, do we see them the same as men, or other (explain)?

One of the examples that applies to deviance is when athletes tend to use any substances to enhance or boost their sport performance when they are in the game, such as caffeine or steroids. #devianceinsport@KIN110UofR
@skylakasick@KIN110UofR Personally, I believe that younger athletes should avoid drinking energy drinks as much as possible. This is because once they start consuming it, it can create a habit for them, eventually rely on it more and can potentially cause some medical attention in the future.

When I was a kid, my playground that I grew up in was always a set of swings, a slide, rock climbing wall and a monkey bar house if we are feeling fancy. I would let my child also grow up in this kind of a playground to gain physical mobility and make friends as well. @KIN110UofR
One of the good examples that I consider to be an expensive sport is basketball. Personally, I tried and book some NBA tickets myself but it was way out of my budget and the merchandise itself is also expensive and limited edition depending on the product. @KIN110UofR#NBATicket
I feel like what decides on what is considered to be a sport is the community and officials who is handling big sport organizations like the Olympics. The sport community changes everyday and there are always new trends, norms that is being formed. #TheNewNormofSport@KIN110UofR
I consider E-gaming to be a sport because even though there is not many physical strength involved but it does involve our mental strategic skills. Chess is considered to be a sport and is actually in the Olympics and is a great example of strategy games.

@ZachSchaan@KIN110UofR I believe spending almost $10000 for just watching a few hours of a game is way too much for me, where I can just watch it at home with my family at a reasonable subscription rate and Iβm sure Iβll get a much nicer view of the game on TV rather than having to struggle find a seat
@klasketoering@kyufust_@KIN110UofR I agree with this! I also like to snack on something whenever I watch a game so I make sure to spend a few bucks on that as well.
@kyufust_@KIN110UofR For me, I think around $50-75 is the bare minimum for me depending on the game. I also like to spend money on food, probably on some limited edition merch, etc.
@KIN110UofR Personally, youth sport is beneficial and can create a huge impact to children's lives. However, the only negative outcome is that children tend to not get the choice of sport they want. With this, children may get pressured from their parents' wishes and feel unmotivated.
