@runroblarun@Hunterrider@runcamille I believe she has known for some time, likely years but maybe not decades. And either way, not something that’s easy to disclose concisely on the internet, or at all for that matter.
@Hunterrider@runroblarun@runcamille The whole point of the term neurodiversity is to make the point that there is a range of symptoms…a spectrum if you will. No two people have the same neurodiversity. It could be an excuse for a lot of these behaviors.
🚨One of the best endurance achievements OF ALL TIME is happening right now!🚨 Tara Dower is on her way to setting the Appalachian Trail FKT overall (beating all men too) barring incident or injury, with under 50k to go and 24 hours to do it. This is an absolutely mind-boggling achievement from a once-in-a-generation athlete. Tara is showing that humans are capable of way more than we might even know!
@iRunFar@trailrunnermag@aidstationfireb
She is coached by @Meg_Runs_Happy (like I was for Leadville). It turns out that speed can go a long way 🔥
GO TARA GO!!!! Follow her: https://t.co/rqZtrHNcSF
@UltraRunnerPod@kieronscrutton In cycling it really impacts time trials more than the standard road bikes. Some have access to better tires which can matter in bad conditions.
@zbitter If you were to survey every runner at every 50k in America, I bet the average person fuels less than 45g/hr (two gels/hr). If education leads to that average going up to even 60g/hr we will see massive improvements
@zbitter@ajoneswilkins My thoughts exactly. Drop matters less the thicker the shoe. Even the Torin and Rivera are thick enough to not impact my form as a significant heel striker.
