@rystershort @hillaryrshah @mariana_h30 @kundaivn When voting time came around, Texas saw some of the largest increases in voter turnout across the country, driven largely by enthusiasm in the suburbs — including right here in Collin County! #txlege

[Frisco Student Activist Union @FriscoSAU]

@rystershort @hillaryrshah @mariana_h30 @kundaivn We 👏 did 👏 that 👏 together.

And the best part is, we’re just getting started.

Here’s to the new year. The young people are winning, y'all.

[Frisco Student Activist Union @FriscoSAU]

🎉 NEW YEARS THREAD: 2018 was such an incredibly transformative year for students everywhere.

We showed the world what it means to organize for change.

Let's take a look back at what we did.

I‘m glad that #JazmineHeadley is being released, but this incident should never have occurred-

It’s the result of criminalizing the poor & the @NYCMayor creating an environment where officers aren’t held accountable.

I won’t let victims be villainized

Texas students are getting it done. ✊✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

Today’s the last day of early voting. If you haven’t yet, get everyone you know out to vote today to skip the long lines on Tuesday! We got this. 🗳

[Frisco Student Activist Union @FriscoSAU]

Friends don’t let friends not vote, so vote together like FSAU co-founders Hillary and Ryan did!

Early voting continues till Friday this week, 7am-7pm, in both Denton and Collin counties. Find your closest polling place here: https://t.co/T5OZZjdDR2

[Frisco Student Activist Union @FriscoSAU]

WOW: Turnout yesterday in Collin and Denton counties for early voting was higher than it was in 2016 — and that was a presidential election.

Students know what’s at stake this year. When turnout is high in Frisco & surrounding communities, students win. Let’s keep it up. #VOTE🗳

Did you know that you can see a sample ballot for the upcoming election so that you won't be surprised by anything when you're ready to vote?

Google your county and sample ballot.

You usually can search (voter lookup) and find your registration to view your personal ballot.

[Reedy HS Student Activist Union @ReedyHS_SAU]

There will be a Reedy SAU meeting this Tuesday (10/16)!

What topic do y’all want to discuss?

[Reedy HS Student Activist Union @ReedyHS_SAU]

If you have a friend that will be 18 by the election in November and they haven’t registered to vote, PLEASE bring them to Mrs. Bekerman, Ms. Peters, or Mrs. Lecoq to get registered!! Hold your fellow peers accountable for their vote!!

[Fred Guttenberg @fred_guttenberg]

Certain to vote in '18, based on late-Sept. Gallup poll:

65+ 82%
50-64 69%
30-49 55%
18-29 26% ‼️‼️

The people with the most to lose are voting in the smallest numbers.

Register. Vote. Take a friend. Volunteer here.
