To clarify the situation and address the misinformation in this post:

1. The account in question was NOT a funded account. It was a complimentary (FREE) affiliate account provided as a goodwill gesture during an affiliate partnership discussion.

2. Prior to receiving the account, the individual submitted screenshots of previous affiliate performance as part of the standard evaluation process used to assess potential partners.

3. Shortly after the account was issued, we received additional partnership applications from other individuals who submitted the EXACT SAME affiliate dashboard screenshots.

4. Since multiple unrelated individuals cannot legitimately own or operate the same affiliate accounts, this raised immediate concerns regarding the authenticity and ownership of the materials provided to us.

5. After identifying these discrepancies, we informed the individual that the screenshots could not be verified as legitimate and made the decision to revoke the complimentary account that had been granted.

6. The account was not breached due to trading activity, risk violations, or any issue involving a funded account. It was revoked because the information provided during the partnership application process could not be verified.

7. We communicated the reason for the account revocation directly and have records documenting the entire interaction.

Blueberry Funded is committed to maintaining the integrity of its affiliate program and protecting the company from FRAUDULENT or MISLEADING partnership applications. We will continue to take action against such activities.

Lastly, we have retained all relevant evidence relating to this matter. While we will not publicly share private communications or submitted materials, the evidence is available and can be provided privately if further clarification is required. Thank you.

People often say regulation is the biggest threat to the prop space - and it potentially is, but not for the reasons you think.

Prop firms have been able to grow at scale quickly for many reasons, one of the biggest is through Google Ads / Meta Ads. These are not as flexibly available to brokers due to regulatory restrictions, strict classification as a financial service, and the policies of large ad platforms.

Props have largely been able to avoid this, which has been great for growing the industry, however comes at the cost of most prop firm growth being fueled through ads. Once regulation or increased ad platform restrictions hit, there are many firms that only focus on direct advertising that will be caught out.

The same thing happened over the last few years with many DTC businesses being wiped out due to small changes in ad algorithms and ad policies.

That’s why we put so much focus in partnerships. Ad platforms don’t care how many years you have worked with them or the money put into growth, but affiliates and partners grow alongside us.
