The NBA, like many zero sum capitalist corporations, is trying to force feed the new ‘golden age’ product in a manner that sours more than it entices the general viewer.
Statement from MSG Sports: “We have been told that the NYPD will once again implement the same 'frozen zone' restrictions for Game 4, which were supposedly to thwart any threats related to the President's attendance…The actions of the Mayor and Police Commissioner, supposedly in support of the Knicks and their fans, are difficult to understand.” Full statement below. Police previously said prior to Game 3 that the area around MSG was shut down due to President’s visit. This action would seem to contradict that statement. It would also impact the small businesses around the Garden. Here’s the full statement:
@Devilgunman@PaulGelb@JCrossover@iKnowSport23 Which city gives you more potential revenue for clout chasing: a city with a population of 1.57M or a city with a population of 8.58M?
Jalen Brunson is the 1st Player in NBA Finals History to record the following numbers in a 3-game span:

• 12+ Turnovers
He remains the favorite to win Finals MVP.
A lot of us are saying “we would take 2-1 before the series started” but we all know not all 2-1 series aren’t the same
If you ask most Knick fans before game 1 what “2-1” looks like to them it would probably be W-L-W or L-W-W.
W-W-L while great in theory carries a level of uncertainty and trepidation heading into G4 that the other 2 scenarios don’t; the question of whether or the not the knicks can take a punch and bounce back in this series
President Donald Trump is not expected to attend Game 4 of Knicks-Spurs in the NBA Finals on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden due to scheduling conflicts and obligations, sources tell ESPN. Trump, a lifelong Knicks fan, watched the majority of Game 3 from a suite.
This is why nothing will compare to 2021 really.
The Knicks being good for the first time in almost a decade was nothing but pure fandom and joy on the streets.
@tripleMwassup's video of us hitting .500 is exactly what it was like.
Tthe LONE playoff win vs the Hawks? Real fans in disbelief that we were looking competent again.
