No water supply from Delhi Jal Board in Neb Sarai, New Delhi. Despite writing to the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Delhi Jal Board for the past three years, no action has been taken. We only 13 km from Parliament, yet 300 residents continue to suffer without a regular water supply.

On 19th November, around 2 AM, a dangerous fire broke out in the illegally encroached jhuggis of Neb Sarai. Around 12 jhuggis, each having more than 6 families were living in this illegally encroached area. More than 100 people were effected in this heart wrenching incident. All the roads leading to Neb Sarai are blocked and encroached by people thus making it extremely difficult for fire brigade and ambulance to reach. The fire brigade reached around 3 AM. A women and her 12 year old daughter were burnt in this incident. Authority has not taken any responsibility for this accident yet.

So sad to share Delhi Jaal Board Tanker was able to-reached my home due to narrow, bad condition of roads in Neb Sarai village, if any disaster then how people life can saved here. No ambulance ,fire fighters can come inside. No one care peoples life. #NHRC #PMOIndia #cmdelhi
