22 Sri Lankan Army Officers completed a Tailor Made Intelligence Training Course at Military Intelligence Training School and Depot on 25 Jul 26.

During the course, officers were trained on Intelligence Tradecraft and Analysis aspects. Military Intelligence Training School and Depot continues to be the Centre of Excellence that imparts Military Intelligence Training to students of Friendly Foreign Countries.

The achievers of the course were felicitated by Lt Gen Devinder Pal Singh, AVSM, SM, Commandant, Military Intelligence Training School and Depot .

“REDEDICATION OF SHRADHANJALI STHAL AT HQ ARTRAC”

A solemn wreath-laying ceremony led by #LtGenDevendraSharma, #GOCinC, #ARTRAC was held at the renovated Shrandhanjali Sthal at Annandale, Shimla to honour those who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

The occasion also marked the dedication of a majestic 52 feet National Flag of India, standing tall as a symbol of unity, pride and nationalism. Military personals posted at Headquarters ARTRAC, station units, veterans, *NCC Cadets and civil dignitaries* paid homage to the valour and sacrifice of our brave soldiers.

The rededicated memorial and towering #Tricolour reaffirms the Indian Army's enduring legacy of valour, honour and selfless service to the Nation.

The Potential Subedar Major Course conducted at Junior Leaders Academy for Junior Leaders culminated on 17 Mar 2026.

Subedar Majors / Equivalent and Potential Subedar Majors from the #IndianArmy, #IndianAirForce, SFF & Assam Rifles underwent an intensive four week professional capsule aimed at strengthening leadership acumen, inter service understanding and battlefield readiness.

Addressing the participants, Brig Gaurav Kapoor, Commandant Junior Leaders Academy, highlighted the pivotal role of Subedar Majors in shaping cohesive force dynamics and operational effectiveness amid evolving geopolitical challenges.

Sub Maj Puran Singh of Army Air Defence was adjudged the “Overall Best Student”.

Junior Leaders Academy, Bareilly

The Junior Leaders Academy, Bareilly hosted a lecture on “Modern Military Communication in the Digital Battlefield: Opportunities & Challenges” by Lt Col Amitabh Bhardwaj (Retd) from #IIT Madras on 14 Mar 26.

The session for Junior Leaders covered AI, quantum encryption, space capabilities and 5th generation warfare, highlighting how technologies like satellite communications and IoT enhance situational awareness and decision-making. It also addressed emerging threats such as cyber attacks and information warfare.

Junior Leaders gained valuable insights on staying adaptive and technologically ready for the evolving digital battlefield.

Junior Leaders Academy

The Junior Leaders Academy hosted a specialised capsule on “Cyber Psychology in the Modern Battlefield for Techno Leaders” by Dr. Mahesh A. Tripathi from Rashtriya Raksha University on 11 Mar 26.

The session sensitised Junior Leaders and Instructors on online behaviour, digital identity and the psychological impact of social media in the cyber domain. It also highlighted how adversaries exploit vulnerabilities through social engineering, misinformation and honey trap tactics, posing risks to operational security.

The interaction reinforced the importance of digital discipline, cyber awareness and vigilance in the evolving information battlefield.
