"My brother, give yourself to God before death comes upon you. Detach yourself instantly from everything which removes, or can remove, you from God. Let us instantly renounce the goods of this earth, before death strips us of them by force."
St. Alphonsus Liguori
Your authority over a woman comes from God alone, not a misguided sense of power. He has entrusted her into your care, cherish her, and love her as Christ loves his Church.
@AuthorJannyB@BreeSolstad as far as I know, what @BreeSolstad wrote in the post is true. No one but the priest could touch and hold the consecrated hosts until the 1970s
the most famous jewish memorial in the world, in Berlin. It consists of a bunch of huge, meaningless stones, and it is the ugliest memorial i've ever seen, LEGOS lol. It is an anti-art piece and looks so ugly.
2 years ago, at the EURO, it was my first time visiting the Berlin Wall in my life, and the first thing I saw was, ofc, a Croatian ultras sticker at the highest place on the wall. idk how they even put it there
@BreeSolstad The photograph shows St. Thérèse at the exact moment she is filling a ciborium with hosts, which were *later* to be consecrated during Mass. This was, and still is, a task for sacristans—they have absolutely no business in opening the tabernacle, not even for "checking purposes".
I know now that true charity
consists in bearing all our neighbors' defects
--not being surprised at their weakness,
but edified at their smallest virtues.
-St. Therese of Lisieux
@BreeSolstad idk why some people say this pic is fake. It's obviously not. This is her 1/1, the real Little Flower.
The context as a sacristan is obviously different now and then, as some people have already explained. But the pic is not fake
@AuthorJannyB@BreeSolstad no, it's not. this pic is authentic.
and i think she was already sick here, you can see it in her eyes. She is so tired but joyful, so the pic was probably taken in the last year of her life
haven't seen a single porn scene for years. for a long time, I've been choosing only movies & TV series after checking the parents guide first. w/o 18+ scenes. My brain is so clean; it's crazy. No sin. And yeah, I am so freaking attracted to women irl.
