@CaringConcern @FLMirabelli Agree, AAPi has been seeking one higher rate for all psychologists so they can continue to bulk bill but not go under themselves. The APS does not want this as they want clinicals to be paid more
@FLMirabelli@drclairlawson Still not speaking to the government about equal rates though despite the very close relationship you seem to have with them. You also neglect to mention all the other groups that are working hard(er) to ensure that all psychologists are treated with respect
@FLMirabelli Pity the APS didn’t also lobby for equal rates for all psychologists. Oh that’s right, they did the opposite. Now experienced, educated psychologists are struggling with the exception of the clinicals. Shame on the APS
@AustPsych Pity the APS didn’t lobby for equal rates for all psychologists at the same time given their implied message that they are so influential with government. With great power comes great responsibility. It should be used fairly.
@FLMirabelli@AustPsych Very disappointing that the webinar labelled it unethical to charge a gap fee. How to such claims help anyone. Psychologists also need to earn an income!

@RosenbergSeb@ian_hickie@BrainMind_Usyd@CMHR_ANU@ozprodcom Increase Medicare rebates sessions for psychologists in the community???? Why all this discussion about gaps in mental healthcare when the solutions are pretty obvious? A hidden funding agenda maybe?
@AustPsych Well as a psychologist I am fearful of my future as our peak body keeps trying to divide the profession and restrict non endorsed psychologists from practising in areas they have worked in for their entire professional lives. It’s very depressing.
@notforgottentv We need to keep the liberal government true to its recommended increase in Medicare sessions for ALL psychologists. The APS has tried to change this in its white paper and will keep trying
