"Precious Remedies Against Satan’s Devices" was published in 1652 by Puritan Thomas Brooks.
Brooks exposes how Satan deceives believers (Devices), and shows how Scripture teaches us to effectively fight back (Remedies).
Here are 7 devices and remedies that opened my eyes:

@farmingandJesus The RCC has always been about consolidating power.
Thank God for the Protestant Reformers that brought the Word into the hands of ordinary people.
By faith alone through Christ alone, to God be all the glory!
@realMaalouf Because it's the desires of one sick warlord turned into a "religion".
No substance.
Only primitive desires.
Turn to Christ, only He offers true freedom, a transformation of the heart.
@metathomist Again, the question isn't what God could allow, but what He has revealed. Scripture commands us to pray for one another, yet it never instructs us to address the saints in heaven. Christ is our living High Priest (Heb. 7:25). Faith rests on God's Word alone.
The elect may stumble, but never finally fall. The God who chose them, regenerated them, and justified them will also sanctify and glorify them. Our assurance rests not in the strength of our own grip, but in the Shepherd who never loses His sheep. (John 10:28–29; Phil. 1:6)
Total depravity: True in its technical definition but misleading and false according to the plain meaning of the term
Unconditional election: False.
Limited atonement: False.
Irresistible grace: False.
Perseverance of the saints: False. (We can choose to stop believing.)
@Danielle_Ln7 We don't want a false peace. Don't be at peace with it until God, through the Holy Spirit, comes and grants you that peace. Mortification of Sin is a great book.
Rev. Susan of Madison Ave Baptist Church condemns churches that says LGBTQ folks need to change, and need forgiveness, saying "judge not lest you be judged."
@Truth_matters20 We shouldn't treat religion as a radioactive term. The Bible teaches a good religion (James 1:27).
Religion doesn't mean without relationship, quite the opposite.
Yes, we have to be wary of man-made accretions and pride, but dismissing "religion" is not faithful to the Bible.
@reformedhg Satan will dress sin up in pretty colours and call it convincing names so we will willingly accept it.
The more we are transformed by the Holy Spirit and Scriptures, the more we see spiritual warfare being waged everywhere.
@LifeNewsHQ Hearing so many pro-aborts calling it "freedom" and a "right". Pelosi even called it a sin to NOT abort.
Abortionists sacrifice the baby to "free" themselves.
Jesus sacrificed Himself to truly free us.

There is nothing below the safe embrace of Christ that is not surrounded by Satan’s snares. The Christian life is a pilgrimage through enemy territory.
But Christ is our refuge.
And one day, the battle will be over.
