@TJR_112@CJNitkowski Yeah idk about this guy, but you have to include all the factors about the situation before making an ignorant blanket statement. Take a look at Bellinger's production post surgery, and he's now barely getting back to his semi normal numbers from his Dodgers days. It takes time.
@kbo_coyote@CJNitkowski Probably had to bend off Padres fans because it's an ignorant take to say that PED suspension has effected him completely. You have to factor in that he had shoulder surgery during his suspension. He hasn't been himself since. Similar to Bellinger after he had the same surgery.
@TJR_112@CJNitkowski He also had shoulder surgery while he was suspended. That likely has affected his swing like it affected Cody Bellinger after he had the same surgery. But this guy just wants to talk nonsense for engagement farming. Blue check mark checks out.
@CJNitkowski Yeah, never mind that he had surgery during his suspension. That couldn't possibly have affected his production like it didn't affect Bellinger after he had the same surgery. I hope your ๐คก take fulfills your daily quota to help buy you dinner tonight.
@BobbyNiiro@EricDevere@Padres Same goes for the Bogey and Manny contracts. That's more on Peter than AJ. He was trying to do everything he could to win before he passed. Doubt we'll see a dynamic like Peter and AJ had again. They really were a bunch of misfits in the midst of corporate/analytics era of MLB.
@EricDevere@Padres Crazy how he just keep finding new ones to trade tho. Those trades created a core for the city of San Diego to show up for and support. When it's time to move on from that core, a foundation will have been laid on which to build again. You underestimate what's been created.
@jmslicknyc@TalkinBaseball_ You act like Manny wasn't the one that told Preller to sign Castellanos. Manny was pushing to get him signed a few years ago before Nick signed with the Phillies. They're friends from back in Florida and they'll be fine. At a league minimum, why wouldn't you take a flyer.
