It’s truly a shame how much these people want our country to be embarrassed on a world stage.
Absolute traitors.
For years, New Mexico has struggled to attract and keep physicians. Many doctors have cited rising malpractice costs, regulatory burdens, workforce shortages, and better financial opportunities in neighboring states as reasons for leaving or choosing to practice elsewhere.
The result?
❌ Longer wait times for appointments
❌ Fewer specialists available
❌ Overcrowded emergency rooms
❌ Rural communities left without adequate care
Thanks @GovMLG
and @NMDEMS
The solution isn't to blame doctors—it's to make New Mexico competitive again.
✅ Keep malpractice costs reasonable
✅ Expand residency programs so doctors train and stay here
✅ Offer loan repayment and recruitment incentives
✅ Reduce unnecessary bureaucracy
✅ Strengthen rural hospitals and clinics
New Mexicans shouldn't have to wait months to see a doctor or leave the state for medical care. It's time to make New Mexico a place where physicians want to build their careers and serve our communities.
