8/ Lighting and Compositing Getting the lighting just right on both characters and liquid elements is a tricky task Often multiple lighting systems were utilized for various individual elements in a scene.

Additionally, an entire layer of 2D character animation was composited into most of the 3d scenes. Instead of approaching these fully in post, a lot of the 2D was actually project in camera onto plane objects within the scene for maximum fidelity when it comes to lighting interaction with the reflections and refractions from the liquid objects themselves.

After all these years… I finally bought back an @Imaginary_Ones 🫧

It was the first project I really grinded for WL in 2022. I made jewelry, painted Easter eggs, opened a YouTube channel, went for walks - whatever it took, and it was FUN.

Sure, I flipped a few along the way - sometimes you need the money - but this project always had my heart. 💙

I minted the @HUGOBOSS collab, staked my IO, received artifact NFTs, won Imaginary Rides, played the Bubble Game nonstop, spun the Carnival Wheel daily (still am, with my staked $Bubble and 3 free spins…

Eventually, I had to let go. But deep down, I always knew: I’d come back. And the colours even suit my PFP!

Because IO isn’t just an NFT for me. It’s a memory. A feeling. A little piece of joy.
