💔 Rare footage captured a male koala mourning the death of his companion, shared by South Australian animal charity Koala Rescue. The charity responded to a call about two koalas found at the base of a tree in the Coromandel Valley, south east of Adelaide where they discovered a deceased adult female with a male koala holding her. This behavior, though rare, highlights the empathetic nature of koalas.
