Stranger Things has backlit my output since studying S1E1 for A-levels 8 years ago. So a closing review:
Hot take(?) S4 was a masterstroke of unparalleled ambition and scale, but it being so good was always going to make a shorter-form S5 less impressive. Dang fine finale though
Last day of Netflix today. Tried to consolidate everything I wanted to see; spent fourteen hours watching an increasingly epic series.
Not even over.
My eyes are blurry and square and I feel empty. But sod it lads, if itโll be like that, youโre not getting my money for vol. 2
This was intended almost entirely to get me off my backside to make more videos. As you can see, this failed. Sorry!
There won't be said special (which is a shame, because it needs to be 2025 for the opening bit to work), but it does mean it's not all over. Also, more Doki Doki.
Anniversary announcement for 10 Years of Reg:
Owing to declining interest (from both me and my audience), I will gradually wind my channel down to a stop, Crimbo 2025, when I'll be doing my 100K sub special whether I've reached 100K or not.
Thank you so much though, everyone
@TSparks69 ๐ I can confirm that timeline is just for show - it's not remotely sensible to edit something longer than half an hour in each project. How many projects I end up with will be interesting to see!

Because you also didn't ask, I've cast my postal vote in "genny lec" (ew)
I'm forsaking tactical voting this time to support:
- climate policies of the scale needed to avoid catastrophe
- a move away from the unsustainable "gospel of economic growth" that will hurt the above
Iโve cast my (postal) vote in #GE2019. I donโt want to sow division by saying how I voted, but I do want to set out what I voted on the basis of.
This is for the sake of transparency about my worldview, and so that my vote cannot be claimed for a cause it wasnโt cast for:
So guys, we did it - and I don't mean posting the same ad three times.
