I was in that seat for six years. There's one camp that hates my liver and kind of says stuff behind my back. There's another camp that knows I went to battle for them daily and even if they keep their head down today, they don't have anything but good things to say about me because they know they mattered to me and they know we delivered and executed and saw it thru. The ones that left all the effort on the floor. There's kind of no middle ground from where I sit today. Some people crave structure and some people create progress. At least that's what's kind of rattling around in my head lately me about it.
1994; My first time in a class since my ged in 1989, my first professional dev opp from an employer, and my first award since grade school. My house is full of these mile markers now. They lay next to the deal tombstones. I keep these to remind me where my bruises came from.
@yacineMTB I think everything eventually goes to constrained computing, forever and ever amen.
That's why I'm always focused to do more calcs on the edge for less watts. It's the path. Everything goes to the edge and you're right about that part.
@hthieblot I sold my first one for $549MM but it wasn't all mine. I did well however and paid off my house note first. The financial engineers said it was a bad move but it felt great and I am glad I did.
@KaiXCreator I'll have the patent in my hand in a few weeks for a cross platform deterministic math engine. I don't know how to code or how to do nonlinear expressions
@darrenmarble Think it's OK to look desperate as long as you know what your number. I'm desperately need 1.8 million for 12% but I'm not gonna give it away for less.
