@QcWynter@poz_woods The term 'cisgender' was used throughout documents prepared for us on HoC Women and Equalities Select Committee yesterday, despite it's dictionary definition being 'not trans'. So a contested term that many women (51% of UK pop) find offensive, just slipped in to official docs...
This is Iryna, she was only 18.
Yesterday, she passed away after a week-long battle for her life, succumbing to severe injuries sustained during the russian attack on Kyiv on June 2nd🕯
Iryna was a sophomore, studying psychology at Mykhailo Drahomanov Ukrainian State University.
Russia killed her for being Ukrainian.
Oleksandra Paskal has won an international rhythmic gymnastics tournament in Romania.
In May 2022, Oleksandra's leg had to be amputated after a Russian strike.
You know, I remember her story so well. It's been over four years now, and, sadly, so many Ukrainian kids and adults now have had to go through amputations.
Oleksandra is incredibly strong. I cannot imagine how much willpower is behind the scenes of her performances. Russia has made her life so much harder.
She perseveres, but she never chose this reality. It's admirable how much Oleksandra has achieved, and I look forward to seeing her soar to more successes in the future.
This is Olha, she was 22-year-old. Russia killed her yesterday in overnight attack on Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region 🕯💔
She was seven months pregnant. Olha’s husband is currently serving in the Armed Forces, defending Ukraine.
Olha worked as a psychologist at "Shans" (Chance), a local comprehensive rehabilitation center for people with disabilities, where she dedicated herself to helping children.
Only women can breastfeed. Saying so should not be controversial, and it should certainly not be treated as unlawful.
Yet Jasmine Sussex has been dragged through years of legal proceedings for raising legitimate concerns about male “chestfeeding” and infant safety.
Her case returns to QCAT today - and it's a chilling reminder of what happens when biological truth becomes punishable.

WATCH: Environment Department security tried to stop @Feargal_Sharkey, Baroness Jenny Jones and the Dirty Business campaigners @ashsmith43 and @watervole3 handing in their letter to Environment Secretary Emma Reynolds urging her to tell the truth about public ownership of water

The BBC did this too: wrote a headline to suggest a sensitive prude over-reacted to an admirer. "Asked for a kiss" sounds like an optimistic romantic. In fact he grabbed her hair, virtually sat on her and frightened her. Why are the media so ok with crimes against women? 🤔
'Kairah Kelly'. A transgender paedophile.. Age 25. Middlesbrough.
Police raided the house. Found 18 indecent images of children on the phone. One showed a six-year-old boy being sexually abused.
Kelly pleaded guilty. But still walked out of Teesside Crown Court with a community order.
The defence said Kelly had a "difficult life due to gender dysphoria." The judge called the offences "particularly horrible", then handed out a community order anyway.
Do they ever get sent to prison.
Safeguarding issues must be taken very seriously when it comes to child safety.
Using a transgender identity as a weapon against child safety is a bridge too far.
The person’s claim for discrimination on the basis of gender, was dismissed by the WRC.
It is never appropriate to initiate intimate contact with children.
For the first time, the UN placed the Russian army on blacklist for conflict-related sexual violence.
The UN's annual report on sexual violence in conflict has documented hundreds of confirmed cases of violence against prisoners of war and civilians.
The report covers the period from January to December 2025. A total of 77 government and non-government organizations from 12 countries were added to the blacklist.
▪️The UN managed to verify 310 cases of conflict-related sexual violence within the territory of the Russia and in the occupied Ukrainian territories.
▪️The violations included rape, gang rape, genital mutilation, and electroshock forced administered to the genitals.
▪️As a result of the cases of sexual violence committed by the Russian armed forces and security forces mentioned in the report, 280 men, 26 women, and four girls were affected.
"Of these, 52 cases were committed during 2025, mostly against male prisoners of war and civilian detainees. The remaining cases, although verified and documented in 2025, occurred between February 2022 and December 2024," said Pramila Patten, the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, who presented the report.
Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Nebenzya, stated that the UN report on sexual violence is aimed at discrediting Russia.
Finally, Russia is being recognized for what it is.

I completely agree that misogyny is unacceptable. The issue is politician’s will complain about misogyny against themselves while championing misogynistic policies that Australian women are expected to accept & we’re saying NO.
Define woman in law before you cry about misogyny.
Mykolaivka, Donetsk region.
Horror here is no longer breaking news — it's become routine.
Today, russian bombs turned more homes into ashes.
The world barely notices anymore.
Not surprising that replies are turned off by @unisontheunion. They have an agenda and will stick to it, even when it's pointed out that the relevant legislation is actually the Workplace Regulations 1992.
But:
❌They seem to be concerned that employers are following the law, and not breaking it instead.
❌ What do they expect the EHRC to do? Produce guidance that ignores and breaches the law?
❌They appear not to be interested in any dissenting female members who welcome the fact that their rights are now (belatedly) being respected. These women are ignored or are unimportant to them.
So the chairman of the Environment Agency is standing down, for the 2nd time in 12 months.
Last time he stood down, April 2025, govt ran the job adverts and no one applied.
Not sure they'll have a much better response this time.
