Tried @opencode to see if there was anything there and it is maybe the worst tool I have tried in the space. After 200k tokens on codex 5.2 xhigh I still have not been able to get it to write to a file. Just embarrassingly awful.

@alexiskold Agreed, but often times I see someone get the "CTO" title just because they are the only technical person, even if they aren't otherwise taking founder levels of ownership and risk. A lot of "CTO"s are closer to Founding Engineer in responsibilities.
