The Incarnation is not God visiting humanity but God committing to it. God does not appear briefly or borrow flesh as a costume, but enters the full weight of creaturely life. Time, limitation, fatigue, growth, misunderstanding, and death are taken up from the inside. Salvation begins not with escape from the human condition, but with God’s refusal to remain outside it.
In the Incarnation, God does not explain humanity; God inhabits it. This is why the gospel never treats the body, history, or ordinary life as disposable. What God assumes, God dignifies, and what God enters, God redeems. Redemption is not God pulling humanity out of the world, but God taking the world seriously enough to live within it.
In a culture that often equates busyness with success, have we lost sight of what it means to truly flourish? Are we prioritizing our well-being, relationships, and personal growth, or are we caught in the trap of constant productivity?
The zeitgeist, the "spirit of the age" and the Holy Spirit, are ever at odds. Make no mistake.
The challenge right now is that some don't know the difference.
Phenomenologically, the Gospel speaks to the radicality of hope by challenging the dominant narratives and cultural assumptions that shape our perception of reality. It invites us to question the status quo and envision alternative possibilities. By awakening the imagination, the Gospel opens up new horizons of meaning and experience, allowing us to see beyond the limitations of our current circumstances.
Jesus is Divine DNA. A triple-braided umbilical cord connects us to that dna: Jesus, Scripture, Spirit. Separate 1 cord from strand, cuts umbilical cord. Keep 3 tightly woven, Spirit brings Jesus of Scriptures to rise among us. "A cord of 3 strands is not easily broken" (Ecc4:12)

Why are the psalms the heart of Scripture? Because, as Martin Franzmann said, "Theology is doxology. Theology must sing." It cannot remain mute words inside a book, but it leaps off the printed page, exits the mouth, and fills the air with a holy sound. In the psalms we sing with Jesus, and Jesus sings with us, in a hymn to the Father through the Spirit, amidst a choir of saints and angels. Here are God's words to us that become our words back to God. The psalms are verbal tears for the suffering, a steady hand to the wavering, a beating heart to the dying.
No other biblical book was on the lips of Jesus as he was about to die. Let them ever be on our lips as well, for they are the songs of heaven on earth.
