@ALongwood19953@b4rbs_manic@ngel5_ he didn’t have fun because he’s in a relationship, that’s exactly what he’s saying. He said he didn’t have a good time and when asked why he brought their relationship and his inability to do anything because of it.
@tittyslurp@ALongwood19953@b4rbs_manic@ngel5_ He did give the truthful answer and then acted like she was overreacting and putting words in his mouth when that’s literally what he’s saying
@ALongwood19953@b4rbs_manic@ngel5_ He said this in response to her asking why he wasn’t having fun, so with context he is saying that it was burden. At least at the party it was.
I think thin women are so used to being the beauty standard that, in the rare situations where they aren’t the preferred type, it feels disproportionately significant. Likewise, when thicker women receive praise, people often treat it as evidence that the standard has shifted
@ppeachprincesss@s0ursk1ttle@harumichiis No one’s making it a competition by saying generally society degrades fat women and it doesn’t do the same to skinny people. I literally said earlier that some people do make comments about them and they can still feel insecure about it but it’s not the same thing.
@ppeachprincesss@s0ursk1ttle@harumichiis No, the original point of the original tweet was about beauty standards and there is no beauty standards against skinny people, the person i originally replied made it a competition of insults which isn’t the point of any of this and the said it went both ways which I addressed.
@ppeachprincesss@s0ursk1ttle@harumichiis Im not saying skinny people can’t be insecure or hated on for being skinny but society is more likely to praise that than degrade it which is the opposite for fat people.
@ppeachprincesss@s0ursk1ttle@harumichiis It’s not really my opinion though, im talking about society and beauty standards that are placed in a general sense. Obviously everyone has different insecurities I’m talking about how society in mass has put more standards on certain individuals based on their characteristics.
@ppeachprincesss@s0ursk1ttle@harumichiis no I’m saying it’s not equally the same for them, yes people probably say very rude thing to skinny people and definitely crosses the line (i don’t think it matters at all if you’re skinny or fat or wtv in between) but fat people have way more standards put on them
@s0ursk1ttle@harumichiis you’re saying if skinny people don’t have boobs or ass they torture them right? I’m saying the same thing happens to fat people and that it doesn’t equally go both ways. There’s no fat camp equivalents for skinny people, The beauty standard in society hasn’t been kind to fat (1)
@mungbeankitty@blondplusbrains@JezziiB for a man to go into the mens bathroom to check for people first because the men are going to expect him to come in because he’s a man. Either way it doesn’t matter at all which one they choose, the dad’s going to be there the whole time anyway so nothing should happen. (2)
@mungbeankitty@blondplusbrains@JezziiB this is such a non issue, my dad would check the mens bathroom first and then take me in there when i was little. nothing ever happened, i didn't see anything crazy, and my dad was there the whole time. Either way the dad is going to have to check the bathroom and it's easier (1)
