0. 全体像を把握する

まず、ウェブサイト経由で利益を上げるために重要なのは、デザインをただ変えることではありません。

大きく分けて、以下の3つの段階があります。

① GoogleやAIが内容を読み取れる土台を整える
② 役に立つコンテンツで訪問者を集める
③ 数字を見ながら登録や購入につなげる

Google検索で上位に表示されても、AIに内容を読み取ってもらえなかったり、訪問後に価値が伝わらなかったりすれば、成果にはつながりません。

どの段階に課題があるのかを把握し、目的を決めて改善することが重要です。

1. データで現状を把握する

最初に必要なのは、勘ではなく実際のデータを見られる状態です。

主に必要なのは、Google Analytics（GA4）とGoogle Search Console（GSC）です。
※どちらも無料で使うことができます。

GA4では、訪問した人がその後どのように行動したかを確認できます。

・どのページがよく見られているか
・GoogleやSNSなど、どこから訪問しているか
・ChatGPTやPerplexityなど、AIサービスから訪問されているか
・どのページが登録や購入につながっているか

Google Search Consoleでは、Google検索で見つけてもらえているかを確認できます。

・どのキーワードでページ（ブログ記事など）が表示されているか
・検索結果から何回クリックされたか
・平均で何位に表示されているか
・どの記事の順位が伸びているか、落ちているか

この2つがあれば、「訪問者が少ないのか」「訪問後に行動されていないのか」を切り分けられます。

2. GoogleとAIが読み取れる技術的な土台を整える

どれだけ役に立つページや記事を作っても、GoogleやAIが内容を正しく読み取れなければ、検索結果やAIの回答を通じて見つけてもらえません。

主に確認するのは以下です。

・重要なページが検索結果に登録されているか
・サイトマップでページの存在を伝えられているか
・robots.txtがGoogleやAIの読み取りを妨げていないか

・JSON-LDで会社、商品、記事などの情報を機械に伝えられているか

robots.txtやJSON-LDなどは、Google検索とAI検索の両方に関わる共通の土台です。

Googleにページを見つけ、理解してもらうための技術的な改善は「テクニカルSEO」と呼ばれます。さらに、AIの回答にも内容を使ってもらいやすくする改善が「GEO」です。

訪問者は、ページを開いてから数秒で続きを読むか判断します。

そのため、最初の画面で最低限伝えたいのは次の3つです。

・誰のためのサービスか
・何を解決できるのか
・次に何をすればいいのか

機能をたくさん並べても、自分に関係があると感じられなければ読まれません。

・導入実績や成果
・利用者の声
・連携可能なツール
・セキュリティ情報
・料金や利用開始までの流れ

すべてを詰め込むのではなく、顧客が登録前に感じる不安に対応する材料を選びます。

5. 売上につながるキーワードを選ぶ

ここまでは、ウェブサイトの土台を整えるために必要な工程でした。

重要なのは、ただ検索数が多いキーワードだけを狙わないことです。

例えば「AIツール おすすめ」は検索ボリュームが大きいものの、競争率が高く難易度が高いです。

一般的に、「SNS投稿 AIツール おすすめ」や「競合分析 AI おすすめ」といった悩みが具体的なキーワードほど競合が絞られ、難易度が下がります。

まずは、Semrushなどの検索データをもとに、以下の条件を満たすキーワードを探します。
・自社の顧客が実際に抱えている悩みにマッチしている
・検索ボリュームが小さすぎず、大きすぎない（月間100〜1,000検索程度）
・上位表示される難易度が低い
・ユーザーの検索意図が比較・検討・購入に近い

記事のアクセスだけでなく、将来的に顧客になり得る人を集められるキーワードを選ぶことが重要です。

6. 検索上位を狙い、AIにも読み取られやすい記事を作る

キーワードが決まったら、Googleで上位に表示されている記事を分析します。

上位記事に共通する内容を見ると、検索した人が求めている情報を推測できます。ただし、同じ情報を並べるだけでは、新しく記事を作る意味がありません。

まず、SEOのために以下を確認します。

・多くの記事で説明されている内容
・読者が理解しやすい情報の順番
・既存記事では不足している情報
・古くなっている情報
・自社の経験やデータを追加できる部分

その上で、AIにも内容を理解してもらいやすい構成へ整えます。

・各見出しで一つの質問に答える
・質問への結論を最初に書く
・重要なポイントを短くまとめる
・具体例、数字、情報源を入れる
・記事の最後にFAQを設置する

例えばFAQでは、質問だけを並べるのではなく、最初の1〜2文で直接回答し、その後に理由や具体例を説明します。

こうすることで、読者が答えを見つけやすくなるだけでなく、AIも記事の中から回答に使える部分を読み取りやすくなります。

GEOでは、AIが記事の一部を回答として使えるように、質問と回答の対応を明確にすることが重要です。

記事やページを公開しただけでは完璧とは言えません。

アルゴリズムの変化や情報のアップデート、顧客の実際の反応に合わせて、改善し続ける必要があります。

例えば、同じ「成果が出ていないページ」でも考えられる原因は異なります。

・検索表示は多いのにクリックが少ない
　→ タイトルや説明文が魅力的ではない

・検索順位は高いのに訪問者が少ない
　→ 狙っているキーワードの需要が小さい

・訪問者は多いのに登録されない
　→ 内容、導線、ボタン、信頼材料に問題がある

・以前は読まれていたのに順位が落ちた

大切なのは、すべてのページを一度に直すことではありません。データから原因を絞り、成果につながる可能性が高いページから改善すると、少ない工数でも変化を作れます。
