@teacheachother @RedDirtLiberty @keatingssixth Thank you. This was last February. My GYN ordered a repeat scan, about a month after the initial hospital visit. It was decided that the wait to get in with general surgery would be enough time for it to resolve itself, so we didn’t bother. Sure enough, it was gone in a month.

@RedDirtLiberty @keatingssixth It was about 5.5cm x 3.9cm x 3.8cm in the right ovary. Meaning the cyst in total was larger than my non cystic left ovary. But ‘relatively simple’ according to them. Only thing to do was pain management and wait for it to resolve.

@RedDirtLiberty @keatingssixth I had a simple ovarian cyst about the size of a golf ball. Not enormous. Not rupturing. Extremely painful. Apparently missed on a CT with contrast but picked up on a pelvic ultrasound four days later when I returned to the ER because I was in so much pain. So pretty painful.
