So out of touch it's quite funny. Would absolutely love to see full strength URC teams go against super rugby teams. Gap might be bigger than we originally thought.
It’s become very clear New Zealand doesn’t miss the South African sides in Super Rugby, and in fact, they miss NZ.
The Stormers offered some resistance to a jetlagged mid-week outfit. The Sharks got blown out. The Bulls, the best of SA’s URC teams, are getting towelled by a pick-and-mix Super Rugby team. The Lions will likely fare no better.
This false narrative that not having SA in Super Rugby hurts NZ rugby needs to end. It’s blatantly obvious who misses who.
If SA Rugby fans can be accused of anything, it would be having zero originality. Doing Norway football chants and rowing at a rugby game? Get a grip please. #capetown#greatestrivalry#allblacks
World Rugby Men's Rankings permutations:
➡️South Africa will not gain any rating points for beating Argentina, a consequence of the 10.83 point differential between the two teams.
➡️Deafeat to Los Pumas on Argentinian soil will see South Africa surrender top spot to New Zealand.
➡️Argentina will climb above Scotland into sixth place with victory, while a win by more than 15 points will be enough to also jump England.
➡️Japan must win by more than 15 points to climb above Fiji into ninth place.
➡️Australia will remain eighth whatever happens in Osaka as they cannot gain enough points to overtake Argentina above them. They also cannot drop below Fiji into ninth.
Mike Penders set to join the Chelsea squad in Hong Kong, my question is, why hasn’t he already?
3 games in the space of 4 days before the Prem campaign starts, is that enough to settle into Chelsea and Alonso-Ball? Belgium got KOd 10th of July, he’s should’ve been back earlier.
The answer is obvious, but might be hard for Chelsea fans to digest.
The club messed up Enzo by signing Caicedo. Both are good players individually, but they're not a good pair.
As a club, we should've optimized for Enzo, but we didn't.
