🚨🔵 EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea send official bid to AS Monaco for Lamine Camara worth €45m package.
Bid seen as too low by Monaco but talks ongoing - one to watch if Enzo Fernández leaves the club with Man City in talks with Chelsea since last night.
Camara, keen on Chelsea move.
This is why you just stick to the deadline, and even if not just pay Enzo a bit more for this season so he’s happy and doesn’t cause a fuss and sell him next summer
Like seriously, every target Wharton, Scott, Kone, Camara off the table
Could’ve bought Bruno G or Tonali earlier
Chelsea have been well and truly dog walked by City btw.
They’ve just said f*ck you to Chelsea and made Enzo push from the inside so it’s impossible to keep Enzo, but also really hard to replace him so late in the window.
Really unsettled us, with the biggest game of the season, away at the emirates this Sunday.
There reason I said Chelsea should have closed the door after the deadline because the longer it goes, the more we play by City's terms.
Again, got called an Enzo stan for that.
So dont sell, these stupid briefs are doing my head in. Even if you've been a Enzo Out hater, the right move would have been to sell him on a slightly lower fee weeks ago if you didnt want to block the sale or get a replacement in regardless and then sell
- Crystal Palace said they will not sell Adam Wharton.
- Bournemouth said they won't sell Alex Scott at any price.
- Problems with Monaco over Lamine Camara.
- Now Roma have made it clear that Manu Kone is not for sale.
I know Chelsea will probably pull someone out of somewhere, even if it means overpaying for one of these players or finding another option. But that's not even my main concern. My main concern is this: do you see how even smaller clubs can show confidence and assertiveness?
They can simply say:
“No. It's too late. We are not selling an important player and jeopardising our season.”
But not Chelsea.
We sell our best midfielder on the final day of the transfer window, apparently for a price that we had already placed a deadline on weeks ago. And we are already short of quality in midfield. We saw that against Brighton.
My Chelsea couldn't even say once:
“NO. WE ARE NOT SELLING ENZO FERNANDEZ.”
And before someone says, “But he wants to leave...”
Do you think Adam Wharton wouldn't want to join Chelsea? Alex Scott? Manu Kone? Of course they might want the move.
But their clubs have their own ambitions, and they are putting those ambitions above a player's desire to leave at the very end of the window.
A club should also know when to say no.
Chelsea seeking a minimum of £120m still in club to club talks for Enzo Fernandez. Enzo waiting for the green light to go for his medical. Chelsea trying to tie down a replacement, although sources point to the £117m signing of Morgan Rogers as a source to help replace Enzo’s output. #CFC
@CFCMods Just let him get his form back, bro was out for 2 years.
You can’t be selective in say yes to sending Enzo to City and no to Mudryk to the Spurs. Especially when City has done us insanely dirty the last year.
🚨 Tottenham Hotspur reach agreement with Chelsea to sign Tosin Adarabioyo. Permanent move from #CFC; personal terms done + permission granted to take #THFC medical. Mykhailo Mudryk loan agreed between clubs - personals still need finalising @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/hxaY6EXFWN
