@mikeddano In my area VZW is using up to 60 MHz of CBRS even though they have no PAL licenses. But Spectrum owns 3 PALs, which I’m guessing they’ve agreed to let VZW use. Interestingly, VZW stopped deploying CBRS radios on site upgrades last summer- waiting for new rules?

@David2Escalante It’s replacing the shorter flagpole so T-Mobile can add n41 and support an additional carrier. They’re doing the same thing on Vista & Baring.

@SneedTech Is your home site using the RRU with integrated antenna (Ericsson 4408 in my market), or are they using a separate base station antenna for better gain? In my market Verizon stopped deploying CBRS a few months ago even though it’s in the BP plans.

Verizon has recently added a new cell site on the south end of Incline Village, drastically improving coverage in the town and around Crystal Bay/Lake Tahoe. One photo shows the monopine overlooking the area. No 5GUW yet, the site’s permit was filed over 3 years ago.

@DarkenMoon_ @PATechUSA Not yet. Verizon hasn’t officially launched UW in Reno yet according to their map, even though a majority of the sites now have it.

Why is @ATT pushing DSL customers to AT&T Internet Air in areas where the nearest cell site upgraded to 5G+ is over 2 miles away?… Faster? Sometimes. Reliable connection? Sometimes. 5G+ connection to the in-home hub? Rarely.
