We shouldn’t just accept what AI gives us, we should challenge it. In education, that means teaching students to question, verify and think critically, using clear guidelines for when AI is appropriate and when it’s not.

Governor Josh Shapiro's 2026-27 budget proposal is a very in-depth plan that moves Pennsylvania forward by continuing historic investments in education and addressing housing shortages.
He also offered a blueprint for regulating data centers, which mirrors several bills already in the works. This is the start of a long process and there's a lot of work ahead of us, but I'm encouraged by the governor's budget address.
