It was great to meet with the Recycled Materials Association yesterday. This organization’s mission is to promote safe, environmentally responsible, and economically sustainable recycling through advocacy, networking, and education.
Great meeting with Pennsylvania United yesterday. The organization works to fix the affordability crisis by supporting legislation to close the Delaware Loophole, tax digital ads, and tax billionaires. The revenue would be used to fund healthcare, improve public transit, and more
Great meeting with @cge_psu, Penn State Graduate Employees who voted overwhelmingly to form a union with @UAWregion9. These workers are critical to research & education. @PennState should respect their democratic voice & drop the appeal to exclude Research Assistants in the union
In observance of Memorial Day, my office will close at noon today through Monday May 25.
On Memorial Day, we honor the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their bravery lives on through the freedom we enjoy every day.
Wishing everyone a meaningful holiday weekend.
Saddened to hear Heidelberg Borough Police Chief Dennis Dixon passed away unexpectedly Monday. Chief Dixon served Heidelberg for 20 years. His impact and service to the community will never be forgotten. My thoughts are with his family, his fellow officers, & the people he served
Had a great meeting this morning with Conservation Voters of PA! We discussed pro-conservation legislation they are interested in seeing get passed. Thanks to the CVPA for stopping by!
I'm pleased to announce the House Finance Committee unanimously voted to advance HB 2340. This bill would be a gamechanger for local brewers and keep more breweries in business. Now the bill moves to the House. Learn more at https://t.co/S24vC1Z4Ys

Great meeting yesterday with the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Commissioners and the Pennsylvania Municipal League. It was nice to see Stacy Altman from Scott Township in this group!
Great connecting with these future pharmacists — including Anna Comis, Brooke Martineck, Derek Ferrer, and Evan Walker from our district — during their advocacy day at the Capitol!
Today, I joined Congressman Chris Deluzio’s public hearing on how private equity is buying up youth sports leagues & pricing kids out of the game.
We need to fund community and school rec programs so local youth sports are affordable & accessible.
Every child deserves to play.
