Thank you to VFW Post 6957 and the staff at Greenwood Cemetery for a meaningful ceremony this morning. These are the moments that put everything else in perspective. #ksleg
God bless every hero who gave their life for this country.
The price of freedom isn't free. Lincoln called it "the last full measure of devotion." That phrase has stayed with me.
To every Gold Star family in our district and across Kansas, thank you. #ksleg
$11 billion lost to crypto scams last year. That's why @KSHouse_GOP passed HB 2591. Trusted contacts for your bank account. A 72-hour hold on kiosk transactions. Taking away the criminal's best weapon: speed. #ksleg

Thank you to everyone who came out to last night's town hall. It's great to see so many familiar faces and meet some new ones. I always learn something when I get to hear directly from the people I represent, and last night was no different. I appreciate you showing up. #ksleg
Big news this morning. @Boeing announced that they are investing $1 billion in Wichita over the next 3 years.
Huge win for the Air Capital. More jobs, more investment, and a stronger future for our city and state.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms across Kansas, and a special Mother's Day to the two most important women in my life. My mom, who raised me, and my wife, who I get to raise a family with. You are appreciated. Happy Mother's Day. #ksleg
Honored to attend the Kansas State FOP meeting this morning. These men and women show up every day not knowing what they're walking into. I'm proud to fight for them. And having their support is something I'll never take for granted. #ksleg
"If you see someone going through an overdose, call 911. Kansas has a Good Samaritan law protecting you from prosecution if you’re in possession of drugs and need to report an overdose." #ksleg
Wichita police investigated over two dozen calls related to overdoses over the last week. Out of those calls, one person died, and three were hospitalized.

Today @Boeing and @wsutech announced a new joint Workforce Training Center right here in Wichita. #ksleg investment in WSU Tech is paying off.
When industry and education work together, Kansas wins. #ksleg
To their families and fellow officers: your sacrifice, and theirs, will not be forgotten.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." Matthew 5:9 #ksleg
Last Friday I had the humbling honor of attending the Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial service. Four names added to the wall this year. Undersheriff Brandon Gaede, Deputy Elijah Ming, Officer Hunter Simoncic, Sergeant Scott Heimann. Each one put on a badge and didn't make it home.
Kansans in rural communities need reliable access to quality health care. That’s why I advocated for a historic $222 million last year to be directed to Kansas to support rural health care access and initiatives, including our 2nd District. I’ll keep working to help strengthen hospitals, providers, and patient care across our region.
Serving the 97th District has been an honor. Today I filed for reelection.
We've accomplished a lot together. There's still more ahead as we continue to build a better Kansas. #ksleg
Overdose deaths are trending down in Kansas. Every person we pull back from the edge of this crisis is somebody's child, and their life matters. This is pro-life work. #ksleg
This is why the work of #ksleg has been so important over the last few years, and I'm proud to help lead that charge. Testing strips. Good Samaritan law. Expanded narcan access. Fentanyl education in Kansas high schools. Stronger penalties for those pushing this poison.
The DEA’s Kansas City District Office is discussing the dangers of fentanyl, highlighting its place as the leading cause of death for Americans ages 18 to 45. https://t.co/6IkmqCw6Du
