https://t.co/kO0x4Hff1z We always hear about researchers working to cure fatal diseases like Alzheimer's, ALS & Parkinson's, but I never dreamed I'd get to meet and thank them. @GovernorShapiro & I thank @PittTweet for your warm welcome & critical research.
This year, we invested the first-ever state funding to support research into neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and ALS.
Join Secretary Bogen, @RepKyleMullins, and me to celebrate these investments in our seniors and those who care for them: https://t.co/b0etX3E9ti
Three police officers from York, PA went to work yesterday & didn't come home, because of a madman with a gun.
We all have remarkable police officers in our lives. Please take a moment to pray for their safety & reflect on their willingness to sacrifice everything to keep us safe
I thought it was important to share my thoughts on data centers and the work being done in Harrisburg to set guardrails on this emerging industry.

It's a miracle and a blessing that Troopers Perechinsky and Jenkins, and EMT Larson, are still with us after being ambushed by a gunman. This terrifying event is a reminder of the the danger our first responders rush toward without hesitation. Continued prayers for all involved.
Too many families have watched loved ones suffer from neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s, ALS, and Parkinson’s.
But with some of the top research institutions in the world calling our Commonwealth home, it’s past time we put them to work conducting groundbreaking research into these neurodegenerative diseases — research that can save lives and make Pennsylvania a leader in this fight.
Today, we took the next step toward making this a reality.
I’m proud that, thanks to the leadership of @RepKyleMullins and @RepBryanCutler, the House overwhelmingly passed a bill to establish a Neurodegenerative Disease Research Program here in the Commonwealth, which I called for in my budget. This research will have a real impact — so let's keep working together to get this done.
No one should have to work until their final days. A financially secure retirement should follow decades of hard work at the end of a career.

It is a blessing that @GovernorShapiro & his family were unharmed in the vicious attack on his residence early Sunday. His courage showed the nation that PA has a leader who will not cower to such terror. Every day I am proud to call Gov. Shapiro a colleague and a friend.
It’s been a while since I walked the same halls as these bright young men and women, but it was great to be back and welcome them into my Young Leaders Program. Each year, we’ve taken the program to a different school district and our area students never cease to amaze me.
Research funding for fatal diseases like #als#alzheimers and #parkinsons is critical to finding cures. If you love or lost anyone to these devastating disease likes I have, you should take this White House’s cuts to NIH research funding personally, too.

As I prepare to swear-in for my 4th term in the PA House tomorrow, I look back on the past year and am thankful for my staff and the work we have done for the 112th district. I am eternally grateful for your support and am honored to continue this journey, #workingforyou.
From improving our school facilities to ensuring our police officers have the proper equipment to keep our communities safe, these grant dollars will go a long way toward improving the quality of life and safety in our region.

Knowing @GovernorShapiro makes me proud to be a Pennsylvanian and a public servant, and it's an honor to work with him to make our great Commonwealth the very best place to live, work, and raise a family.
An attack on a political leader is an attack on our shared and coveted American values and on our way of life. I'm thankful the former president is recovering, heartbroken for the deceased rally attendee, and grateful to law enforcement for swift action.
