The DC police must be deliberately blocking access to the Mall. I’ve tried twice to get in and been rerouted over one mile. This am old people were passing out in line because they kept shifting the lines and not letting people in. Tonight there is some rain passing through so they shut down the entrance and told people to go home.

Dumb to frame it around race but her point (most cemeteries don’t allow dogs because people find it disrespectful to the decedents) is a valid one. Comes down to is that a cemetery or not. Lots of my ancestors buried in farm fields and likely where farm animals live. I’m a dog guy so I’d be ok with dog parking my graveyard but I’m not everyone. How do you designate it? Not familiar with the site but The state protects very old tribal burial mounds from building etc which I think most people respect.

Thanks to Gov Walz my car routinely smells like a burning skunk because he legalized “adult use cannabis” and now somehow this cool idea about choice for some adults to engage in putting unregulated smoke from unregulated burned products into everyone’s car whether they want it or not. Why always so mean? The guy tries to clean the city and all you can do is celebrate what will likely turn out to be vandalism by mean people with bags of fertilizer. It doesn’t have to suck. Trump fixed a skating rink in New York in a few months after years of bureaucracy and shrugs from the city. My guess is he will get this clean unless the mean hippies pour fertilizer bags in every night.
