Session days mean I’m working in Lansing, but thanks to my campaign fellows and these incredible @MichiganLCV volunteers, our campaign is still going strong back home.
There is still significant work ahead. I remain committed to the collaboration that makes progress possible and to ensuring every Michigander has access to care that is equitable, meaningful, and humane. (5/5)
Receiving this year's Honors Legislator Award from NAMI Michigan is a humbling reminder of why this work matters. NAMI is a genuine grassroots force, present in every state, rooted in more than 1,000 local communities. (1/5)
Their voices are what drive efforts to close gaps in behavioral health services and reduce the strain on emergency departments that have become a default safety net for people in crisis. (4/5)
Thank you to the staff and volunteers who show up every day to make a difference. I’m grateful for the chance to learn more and support this incredible mission.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Forgotten Harvest. Seeing firsthand how their team rescues surplus food and gets it to Michigan families who need it most is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when compassion meets action.
Removing me from Appropriations doesn’t remove my voice in this budget. But it does protect House Republicans from having to answer my questions in committee.
I’m grateful to celebrate this milestone and to support organizations that strengthen our community by uplifting families and ensuring no one is left behind. (3/3)
Yesterday’s groundbreaking at The Judson Center was a reminder of what’s possible when we invest in families and community‑centered care.
For years, the Judson Center has been a trusted support system for families in need. They have continually provided compassionate, (1/3)
comprehensive services that meet people where they are. This expansion marks an exciting next chapter, allowing them to grow their wholistic suite of services and reach even more individuals with the care, stability, and opportunity they deserve. (2/3)
We're funding our schools, feeding our kids, protectin our environment, treating teachers like the professionals they are, and uplifting workers through skilled trades, unions, and talent pipelines.
This is what working for the people of Michigan looks like.
House Democrats are building a brighter Michigan. And we're doing it by showing up where it matters.
We came to where the people of Michigan are, listened, and did the research. And now we're taking action.

“It was a great pleasure to meet all who showed up to the Fellowship Fundraiser this past Sunday! Natalie gives us fellows a chance to learn and have a hands on experience with government, campagain, and social skills that can be used not just for politics but for a (1/2)
