Japan Laundry Tip 🇯🇵

Most hotels only have 2–3 laundry machines.

If you go in the evening, everyone and their grandma is trying to use them. It Sucks!
Seen a guy take someone else’s stuff out.

Best time is usually around checkout hours: 10am–2pm. Most machines are empty!

Gemini honestly impressed me:
• Better route planning
• Hidden discounts
• Translating images/signs
• Explaining what I was looking at
• Helping while shopping

The Suica card in Apple Wallet works great for trains in Japan 🇯🇵📱

Buses though… different story.
One bus scanner wouldn’t work and the driver seemed annoyed at me.

Maybe it’s better to turn on the express transit setting so you don’t have to face scan each time.

And said that was too big of a range.

Now just fly into 1 airport and do Whats close by.

We usually buy discount bentos from grocery stores to eat the next day for lunch before leaving hotel to venture out.

Hotel breakfast in Japan usually runs about $15–$20 per person.

The kaiseki meals at ryokans were amazing though 🇯🇵 - must try!

Next visit I’m going to try leveling up my hotel status game to get breakfast complimentary
