@spankyq 2/2 Though while they are rare, we plan and prepare for any type of failure. The outage length was kept to a minimum in this instance because we keep cold-spares of all routing gear pre-racked and ready to activate in the event of a failure.
@spankyq 1/2 We understand your frustration. Today we experienced a failure of a core router. The incident began at 10:45AM PST and ended by 12:50PM. Most customers experienced ~30 minutes of downtime during that time. Fortunately these types of failures are very rare.
@zirukurt01 @zirukurt01 That couldn't be further from the truth. We immediately terminate all spammers/scammers reported on our network. Did you report an issue? If so, what's your ticket number? The page you linked is a historical page full of spammers that we've terminated years ago.

Reprise Hosting will begin unscheduled network maintenance on 4/15/2020 from 8PM to 9PM Pacific. Disruption will be limited to 5% of all users and last no longer than 5 minutes.
@charles_duan Hi Charles, the datacenter with our networking core experienced a UPS failure. We re-routed traffic and restored connectivity for 95% of clients within ~40 minutes. The 5% were physically migrated to a new facility and online a few hours later. See our support portal for details.
We have been informed by the datacenter owner (Optic Fusion) that the power issue will take hours to resolve. To restore connectivity faster for the remaining 5% offline -- we are now physically moving gear to our secondary facility in the Westin that is online (ETA 2-3 hours).
Our network engineers have re-routed traffic around our network core and have restored connectivity for 95% of our network. Our engineers are continuing to work to restore connectivity for the remaining 5%.
Our facility in the Westin Building is currently experiencing a power event. This has caused an outage of the majority of our network. Electricians are on-site and actively investigating the issue. We will provide updates as soon as possible.
