I seek no mention or fame for myself; I seek justice and demand that this country act rightly. Spaniards are deserving of something far superior than what they’ve been given. Voting processes could have, and should have, been digitized a long time ago to ensure complete transparency, but this step was never taken. Instead, they opt for censorship and push for digitalized identity programs, banking, and personal surveillance. We are monitored, they are not. This imbalance cannot be allowed to stand. They break the laws and remain untouched, while an ordinary Spanish citizen can end up spending 48 hours in a cell awaiting a swift trial for minor infractions.

They infringe upon our fundamental rights, skimming profits off the hard-earned money of all Spaniards. They form relationships rife with conflicts of interest, playing games with our lives and our suffering.

At 27, I have worked tirelessly and faced numerous health issues because of the intense dedication I have given, leaving little time and energy for myself and my loved ones. What is all this for? To watch as the very essence of what I strive to protect—my freedom—is threatened? Here in Spain, it seems everything is up for sale, from the spouses of our leaders to the integrity of our nation.

Manipulated elections.
Misappropriated funds.
Violated privacy.
Constant oppression.
Manipulation of the masses.
Concealment of critical information.
Persecution of opposing ideologies.

And now, we posture as progressives—to hell with that. There’s this belief that we need to eliminate low taxes so that the wealthy pay more, but this double-edged sword drives away those of us who generate jobs. No one speaks for us; it’s merely a war among elites, playing games to determine who is better or worse based on their affluent whims.

Are you aware that Google News pulled out of Spain due to the so-called "Google tax"? It was the first time Alphabet would withdraw Google News from a country, and it was because, supposedly, it's illegal to publish small snippets of content on aggregation sites without paying the Association of Newspaper Publishers, who lobbied the Spanish government for this law.

This situation is untenable and utterly disgusting, to step out onto the streets and confront the powers that be is becoming increasingly necessary. Is this the mess we want for our country? They toy with a nation where the young flee and the pensioners remain, those same pensioners who see a shrinking younger generation and who will likely not have a decent pension or means to survive in the future. All this while our government gambles with European Union credit standards, pretending our production is growing, our economy robust.

Dear Elon Musk,

We are exhausted. The old and legacy television media in Spain are mistreating the population. A democratic country is held up on the pillars of censorship, manipulation, and false transparency. In Spain, we not only have problems with our electoral voting; now we are facing social media blocks because a television group, with years of manipulation and extortion, has decided to file a complaint against Telegram in Spain, and a judge has ordered operators to block connections to Telegram. This is utterly repugnant; we are facing not just an issue of transparency but also a persecution of privacy and the coercion to continue consuming TV programs directed by individuals with extensive political connections.

I openly call on Elon Musk to assist the people of Spain; we are enduring something we never thought would be possible. We want to continue our activities without fear of being spied on or censored.
