After 50+ years of voting there is a truth I have learned: The only person who is going to support 100% of the positions on issues that you do - is you. And if you aren't going to run, you will have to compromise.
Choose the issues that are most important to you, and the choose a candidate with character and values similar to yours. And make damn sure you vote.
Please don't forget the Trump family is barred from ever running another charity in NY because they stole from a Children's Cancer Charity. A F**KING CHILDREN'S CANCER CHARITY!
@SenWarren My fellow conservatives, we literally have no choice at this point. We must remove republicans as the majority in the house or we will no longer have a country.
Agree. There is danger when people give up believing that we the people should expect transparency from the representatives WE elect. Don't give up. That's what they want - the same submissiveness of the republicans. Don't give up.
One thing I couldn't fit into the article:
The most dangerous outcome isn't that people become angry.
It's that they become indifferent.
Anger means people still care.
Indifference means they've stopped expecting accountability altogether.
That's a much harder problem to solve.
A federal judge just struck down a Trump administration immigration policy affecting 39 countries. Another reminder that executive power isn’t unlimited….and that courts can still throw a wrench into policies that overreach…no matter WHAT baby man thinks.
At 4am, Senate Republicans gave the greenlight for the IRS to drop ALL investigations into Trump and his family.
That means if Trump is evading taxes, we’ll never know.
I have a bill to make this illegal. And I won’t stop fighting to get it done.
ICE is facing growing scrutiny over detainee deaths and detention conditions. Now comes a reported change that could remove some deaths from public reporting. When the scoreboard disappears, trust usually follows. Prove to me that ICE is not a criminal organization.
HAPPENING NOW: Senate Republicans are trying to push through an extra $70 billion for ICE, which already has a record level of funding.
This does nothing to lower costs for families.
I’ll be opposing this bill.
