Prime Minister Modi even briefly halted his BRICS Summit speech after noticing Xi’s physical discomfort.

You cannot diagnose a man from a video, let alone predict his lifespan. But there have been repeated rumors that he suffered a minor stroke several years ago, and in communist China, when it comes to the health of CCP officials, rumors are prophecies ahead of their time.

Xi has spent years constructing an image of strength, control, and historical inevitability. Now every unedited clip invites a different question: How healthy is he and how stable is a system built entirely around one aging man?

China has no transparent succession process, no independent media capable of reporting honestly on Xi’s condition, and no obvious successor. His health is treated as a state secret because the entire political order depends on the illusion that he will remain in control indefinitely.
