The Rescue Node is now available to Solo Stakers π
https://t.co/yNaQJFAeFd
Solo Stakers can use this service as a fallback Beacon Node for maintenance and emergencies.
Access is granted for 10 days at a time, twice per year.
In case you were worried, we are now running PeerDAS supernodes in order to continue to support stakers of any size.
Our entire fleet was upgraded to new hardware this week.
We're ready for fusaka!
Join us this Thursday Feb 13 at 17:00 UTC for a community call!
We'll learn about the @Rescue_Node service available to Ethereum stakers in a conversation with @0xpatches, @nextblock_eth, and Poupas.
Set a notification for the livestream:

And there will be a POAP to collect for attending! The POAP mint will be powered by @arbitrum.
We are partnering with @ethstaker!
Going forward, the Rescue Node will be operated by EthStaker, but still funded by the Rocket Pool GMC.
We are adding @yorickdowne to the list of Maintainers, but nothing else is changing for our users.
Shout-out to the @Rocket_Pool GMC for retroactively funding @trainface's contributions to the Rescue Node, despite it only impacting solo stakers.
The RP GMC is showing a willingness to contribute to ecosystem public goods funding here. Big props.
Thanks to several contributions from talented and industrious community member Sno, the Rescue Node website now displays information to our users about how many credentials they have used and have left, after they sign the access message, but before they submit it.
Thanks Sno!
We're excited to announce that Rescue Node now supports solo stakers who use Smart Contract wallets as their 0x01 withdrawal credentials, as long as the contract supports EIP-1271 signatures, such as @safe, thanks to contributions from @trainface.
How can I not publicly thank @Rescue_Node whenever I use their amazing service. What a great resource for the solo/home staker communities.
And without @Rocket_Pool, the Ethereum staking landscape would not be what it is today. Kudos to the whole gang. Much love to the community
