Animals invade @NHMU! 🦝 Animals aren't allowed in the #Museum unless they’re STARS of a special exhibition. 😃 When Nature All Around Us opens this Saturday, it will also be the world premiere of Diorama 2.0, an exhibit concept created by our senior exhibit designer... (1 of 3)
Diorama 2.0 incorporates traditional #museum taxidermy with interactive projection mapping featuring live animals. The animals (like this #rattlesnake!) were all filmed by a special camera team on green screens both at @NHMU and off site... (2 of 3)
See the team's final product when Nature All Around Us opens at @NHMU this Saturday, Oct 19! It will take your #museum experience to a new level and wow guests of all ages. Learn more about the exhibit: https://t.co/oIaHwY0HVB

In conjunction with our Nature All Around Us special exhibition (which opens Saturday), @nhmu challenged photographers of all levels to capture the #nature in their communities throughout #Utah... (1 of 5) 📸: Gene Rogers.
More than 450 people from 23 counties in #Utah—including 28 youth photographers—accepted the challenge and submitted scenes of #wildlife and nature spotted in parking lots, cemeteries, golf courses, and even their own back yards! (2 of 5) 📸: Charleen Slinkerd.
Submissions were judged by 3 local #photo pros and 43 winners were selected to have their work hung in the Nature All Around Us exhibition (they just went up as we make final preparations)! Thanks to @pictureline for their support of the photo contest. (3 of 5) 📸: Beth McGraw.
See all the winners in Nature All Around Us, which opens at @NHMU in #SaltLakeCity this Saturday, Oct 19. Or, follow this link to see all the amazing submissions we received: https://t.co/NossS8F7Eh (4 of 5) 📸: Eliza Earle.
