We were advised technicians were onsite, however as of 08:21 today, the site appears unattended, with no active work taking place, no water tankers, and no ETR communicated.

@Eskom_SA A technician came out and worked on it. Power went on and off again after 15minutes. We cant log another call because the original is still open

DAY 6 WITHOUT ELECTRICITY SINCE 20 DEC 2025– President Park, Midrand (Ward 110). Cable fault + transformer explosion confirmed. Technician assessed Monday. Eskom still waiting for cable truck. Multiple households affected. This is unacceptable. Eskom please stop ignoring us.

@Eskom_SA Christmas day, Day 5 without electricity in President Park, Midrand. Fault logged with no feedback or ETA. Households affected since Sunday waiting for Eskom To Dispatch a cable truck. Please escalate and advise restoration timeline.

they could not let me pay extra for a vegetarian meal with a toy or to pay extra to substitute a vegetarian burger in the kiddies meal. How awful is this experience - are vegan children not welcome at Burger King? Regardless to say we left the shop in tears.

@BurgerKingZA today is Heritage day. As a Hindu who is not able to eat meat today I took my child to Burger King greenstone because she really wanted the kiddies meal. The Manager Bafana Sgudu said to me they have no option to cater for vegetarian kids
