Lovely to sit down for a proper chat with Lord Hanson @RTHondavehanson, @ukhomeoffice Minister, a couple of weeks’ ago. Plenty to discuss with our campaigns and counter-extremism work- thank you for your time!
Great to catch up with @AlexJJNorris, the @ukhomeoffice Minister for Border Security, last week.
A great champion for our cause, and a lot of interesting areas for discussion given his current portfolio! @ResilienceUnity

Grateful to @IainDale for a very thoughtful interview last night, allowing me to share my thoughts on the attack in Manchester.
Beyond the initial shock, this should absolutely serve as a clarion call for all to double down on our efforts to challenge the spread of extremism.
Yesterday’s attack on a Manchester synagogue is a stark reminder of the threats our communities face.
Our founder, @travisfrain, spoke with @IainDale on @LBC@LBCNews about resilience, solidarity, and support for those affected.

Currently in Birmingham sharing my story with students to raise awareness of radicalisation & extremism, and just seen the awful scenes unfolding back home- with methodology all too similar to the attack I was involved in. Dreadful to see, and just brings it all rushing back.

If you watched the recent debate on support for terror survivors, you may have heard @AndyMacNaeMP reference the Survivors' Charter and its eight key principles.
Created by @Survivors_a_t the Charter outlines what effective, compassionate support for survivors should look like.
This opportunity to help guide and support the APPG’s work is a powerful platform to make that vision a reality.
We’ll be sharing updates and insights as the APPG continues its work. Stay connected and help us keep survivor voices front and centre.
Announcing the newly formed All-Party Parliamentary Group on Terrorism & Security & secretariat,
The APPG will be led by:
🔹@AndyMacNaeMP (Chair)
🔹@BishManchester (Vice-Chair)
🔹@jfoster2019 (Vice-Chair)

Their leadership demonstrates a growing commitment across Parliament to listen to survivors, support community resilience, and understand the long-term realities of living with the impact of terrorism. At Resilience in Unity, we’ve long advocated for survivor-led change.
This APPG brings together cross-party voices to explore how terrorism affects individuals, communities, and wider society, and crucially, how Parliament can do more to support those impacted. This marks a significant step forward in addressing gaps.
