UNILAG's students' exposure to opportunities is on another level.

Far back 2007, when I did my pre NYSC job in an investment management firm, every other pre NYSC person was a graduate of UNILAG.

They also have recruitment path to competitive global opportunities like Goldman Sachs internship. Not by design, but by information. They circulate info among each other about opportunities that are not open or open but not widely circulated.

You also won't find many UNILAG grads in the village you are serving in Damaturu or Tangaza. Maybe one or two. Some have started internships in top companies in Lagos while you are hustling for teaching job in Gidan Madi.

Ijaw people are 1 percent of the population of Ondo state but they are here openly threatening indigenous Yoruba people from returning to their homeland.
