Not only is it the case that happy people are more willing to help others, but as I generally point out, helping others is the best way to help yourself, the best way to promote your own happiness. It is you, yourself, who will receive the benefit.
This demands to be read by anyone who commissions, regulates, inspects or provides support for learning disabled people. And @mencap_charity of course. https://t.co/G3Of0lOfgC
I hope that the many good people that work for @mencap_charity who are horrified at what is happening in the @TozerInquest feel brave enough to speak up about it. #silencekills

"Public understanding has been proven to affect change to many policies by decision-making organisations. By raising greater understanding of the issues that young disabled people face, we can improve their life chances." #SecretLifeOfUs https://t.co/ufUNZpajZX
Ben loves going to music concerts.
But to do that, you have to scope out the venue beforehand. He needs changing facilities and if we’re lucky, the venue will have nice, close parking.

"Ben & autism bring both bad & great times to our family & we wouldn’t change him for the world. Through all the difficult times it’s important to remember that we are a normal family & we have so many happy & enjoyable times together." #SecretLifeOfUs https://t.co/j0ZGTfy0bM
