They should have hired servers to count the votes and told them that they could go home when it's all finished. We would have known the election results last week.
I should have put "side duties" instead of "side work" cause you guys love to tell me sooooo much that that's not the right term and has never been used before in the history of restaurants and even though I can confirm it definitely has but you still tell me IM WRONG DONT WORRY

It's 7:22 PM on a Wednesday evening and we have 3 tables in the dining room. It would be ridiculous to cut any of the four servers working.
Being stuck at Burning Man sounds rough but like, I'm in the middle of a long weekend Sunday Brunch shift so I don't really want to hear the complaining
RIP to the legend Bob Barker...

Had to whip this up in honor of The Price Is Right legend. The epitome of what a sick day off from school was. 99 years ain't bad.
Those consistent 5pm starts can really take their toll after a while. If you're like me where you wake up at 7am you've got a long day ahead of you with that shift looming.
What do you guys do to combat this?
That feeling when you walk in for the morning shift, Starbs in hand, expecting everything to be pristine, and... BAM!
One table, just one f*$@ing table, glaring at you with its unwiped shame. Like, c'mon night crew, you had ONE job!
No sir I am not going to ask 4 tables to uproot their dining experience and move tables so that you can show up with your kids baseball team unannounced.
Seriously.
