It makes an even more damaging case for him than he realises; even as he wraps himself in the flag and gives the hard-right Brexity and anti-Islam platitudes in the posh accent of the most impeccable fag at Rugby (already putting him in a very small proportion of the brown sojourners on this island), his half-caste narcissism/insecurity still drives him to deny the reality that the people who have occupied this island are an ethnic group and should continue to exist. If this is the best brown man around, what must the rest be like.

I really hate when I can see one of these under one of my posts but then it doesn't display any replies. What does it mean! Also Notifications does not show all replies; I look at posts again later to see replies that I received no notification for.

All this is to say, sorry if it looks like I ignore any replies. It is probably X being weirdly fickle about whether it lets me know that I actually have any!

I had this thought myself yesterday but then thought about it a little more and realised it's not a coherent argument even though it is positive for Restore. For the sake of epistemological rigour then (and because I already went to the effort of typing it where few people will see it currently), this is the reply I left:

The Reform former Tories are defectors, and Lowe's position actively punishes them, including Jenrick who was Kemi's leadership rival, while also dissuading any further defections. I am not saying I think there was a deal between Lowe and the Conservatives, but it's a miscategorisation caused by us calling them Tories all the time; their former party would have no reason to want defectors to thrive in Reform.

I don't care if you're Reform or Restore, can someone explain to me the following:

Reform's position last week: "Rupert Lowe is just a Tory and he has a secret pact with the Conservatives."

Rupert Lowe's red line on uniting the right: "You have to sack the Tories in your party and agree not to accept any other Tories into the party."

Reform's position this week: "Your terms are unacceptable."

@NigelEyre8 I think Zia certainly knew there was some chance Farage wouldn't stay the course (likely due to the money stuff), and that's why he acted to remove Lowe, who was the only other credible successor.
