Key learning points are:
1. Simulate, simulate, simulate. Do it now before you’re overwhelmed so you know you’ve optimised staff safety and training in the process.
It is so easy to get donning/doffing wrong and also to get ventilator circuit disconnects etc.

the man I nursed today was sad about his double amputee and systemic disease state. He told me that he was mean in his life and he had to do that to make money. Showing him kindness and care seemed like a lesson learnt too late.
Something I’ve learned: a tip for conference/ course organisers - replace all your “debates” with “conversations”.
Learning comes from curiosity, openness, and understanding - not false dichotomies.
