@nomoretired2023 I’m so sorry. Having one of those days too. Opened my eyes to a migraine aura. Really messed up my plans for the day. I don’t think I’ll ever not feel upset about it. I hope you are back to baseline soon.
@FiSurgi I have only been successful in landing a position from linked in when recruiters have contacted me. I find it completely useless for cold applications.
@petercgrayson Agree. Saw tweets of important autoinflammatory disease content today that we (adult autoinflammatory/vasculitis patients) really need the adult rheums to also learn from.
@SarahSchaferMD Anything seronegative especially or atypically presenting is the hardest. Sometimes I really wish this wasn’t such a shared experience.
@nomoretired2023 I do not understand either. Issue after issue. Conflict after conflict. I’m watching people become so entrenched in their world view that dehumanizing their opposition is normalized. And it’s never normal. The way forward is shared humanity. 💔
@MaeExhausted Exactly. What’s wild is that I made it to solidly middle class and felt the pinch from this, but could swing it. But I could also see the impact it had on my grandmother who was in subsidized housing and my other family. So I don’t get how they don’t remember life before.
@PennMedicine You have primary care practice refusing to take a patient who left in 2015 because insurance forced them to. I’m blacklisted from that practice for life per front desk bc of something out of my control. It wasn’t a choice. Unacceptable.
@PanickedFoodie Ok. So if you need to look for something specific, I like open cravat. There is a FB group called Dante Labs and Nebula Genomics customers that can likely help you some.
@milesdividendmd This is terrifying. I hope they do not find out through lived experience why medical society’s have the concession guidelines that they do. And I’m more terrified for the people they influence to follow the same risky path.
@HemingwayMuse @MaeExhausted @beth_morton Seconded! I can safely ignore my usual stroke-like symptoms because they are my usual, but when it gets weird/new, I go do ER.
